D/Will and Stik Figa – Body Language
Been awhile since I posted something from D/Will…but seeing as how his album, Battery Effect, is set to drop on June 23rd, he wanted to get the ball rolling with this little treat feat Stik Figa.

It is strange experiencing life without the power of the internet. No Google, no Twitter….what’s a girl to do? Over two weeks have gone by, and I feel as if I have been on another planet for over a year. I’m slowly starting to acclimated again, although my car-less, and now bike-less self has to find a way to the coffee shop every day in order to check my email. I missed out on a lot of great music…so I will be doing my best to catch back up. In the meantime I’ll try and give you a little taste of what was missed, and I’m gonna kick it off with one of my new favorites from Black Milk..check it out.
So all weekend I was listening to Kid Cudi‘s new mixtape, Dat Kid From Cleveland. Gotta be honest, the majority of the songs I’m not really feeling, but…….I’m loving “I Poke Her Face” featuring Common and Kanye alongside Lady Gaga‘s acoustic version of her hit song. Honestly, my respect for her shot up after hearing that, I mean it sounded like something you might expect from Feist or Regina Spektor. Nice to see that she’s a real musician and actually has a pretty decent voice hidden under all that hair and eccentric clothing.
Always been a fan of Peter, Bjorn, and John, but when I saw this remix of their hit “Nothing to Worry About” featuring fellow Swede Adam Tensta (thanks Couch Sessions) by Troublemaker, I had to check it out. Luckily, it doesn’t stray from the the original, keeping it’s crunchy drums and little kiddies singing in the background, but with other guests spots from The 87 Stick Up Kids and U-N-I it definetly packs a punch.
Maybe it’s just because I’m missing the super Euro clubs of Switzerland, but I’m really feeling this unofficial Kid Cudi remix by Italian DJ, Tevar. Check it out below.
