Radiohead – Nude (K15′s Introspect Mix)
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything from K15, so I’m glad his recent remix of Radiohead‘s “Nude” caught my attention.

Another Chi-town artist trying to make waves outside of the Great Lakes, Nikki Lynette is an eccentric singer with a funky and versatile sound. Peep the Motown influenced “Need A Man” below…
OK, so it’s a couple weeks old. I hadn’t been to Kissey‘s site for awhile, but was happy to find this nice little Christmas present that she had gifted to all her fans. HAHA, I like the word gifted, it makes me feel sophisticated when I say it . Oh well, enjoy “Holiday”, you can pick it up here! By the way, production was done by a dude named Hollywood Raff.
Looks like your not the only one with racing stripes Kansky!
Still a huge fan of The Bird and The Bee, I have been patiently awaiting their sophomore album, Ray Guns Are Not Just the Future, which is due out Jan. 27th. Continuing to keep things fresh, this time around they’ve managed to produce tracks that are much more danceable and funky, that is to say, as much as you can being signed to Blue Note. Sticking to their guns, they still have their trademark sound of the 60′s, so it’s guaranteed to be another great listen…
So Santogold’s album dropped yesterday, and you better believe I was at the Virgin Record Store at 9:30 in the morning making sure I got my my wristband to see her perform later that night! I’m not sure what kind of performance (or person) I was expecting, but I sure didn’t get it…and that is definitely not a bad thing. Judging by her music and pictures I was expecting someone that was really eccentric and outspoken, which I’m sure she probably can be. Instead yesterday, this cute, tiny, charming woman in black pants and a leotard is on stage almost in tears discussing how happy she is that her album was finally released. Overall it was a great performance and I absolutely love her CD!
There was one unscheduled visit during the meet and greet, when out of nowhere Lil’ Mama jumps in front of the line to take a picture with Santogold and then begins to walk down the line to shamelessly plug an upcoming performance of hers. Really? Some people have no shame…
Oh, and for all of those folks who keep trying to compare her to M.I.A. or keep calling her a copy…take a listen to the album and then back off. Santogold can stand on her own two feet.
Here is a crappy video I took of the performance…
